3 Day Glencoe & Highland Tour

Day 1
Pick up from your accommodation Edinburgh/Glasgow area first we drive through Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park before stopping off at one of the popular villages of Luss or Callander maybe even see some highland cows. We then continue north up over the vast Rannoch Moor and through the majestic Glencoe. Visiting Glencoe visitor centre for lunch and have a look at the exhibition to the outdoors, plus see the reconstruction of a 300 year old turf house. We pass through Fort William, this area is known as the outdoor capital of the UK before heading to our accommodation.

​Day 2
After breakfast we depart for Fort Augustus to take in cruise on Loch ness maybe even catch a glimpse of the Loch Ness Monster more affectionately known as Nessie. Then we visit Urquhart Castle further up the loch and visit some waterfalls and maybe see salmon jumping up the falls. Before spending a night in Inverness the capital of the highlands.

Day 3
Close to Inverness we visit Clava Cairns an ancient burial ground said to be 4000 years old and Culloden Battlefield where the last Jacobite rising took place. We head south visiting either Tomatin or Dalwhinnie distillery. We continue on the A9 to the victorian tourist town of Pitlochry where they are plenty of cafes, restaurants and shops. Depending on where the drop off is might be a chance to visit The Kelpies on route.​
Isle of Skye Tour 5 Day Tour

Day 1
Leave your accommodation early morning to visit some locations close to Edinburgh/Glasgow The Kelpies, Falkirk Wheel, Glengoyne Distillery or one of the many castles. We travel north stopping off at the Hermitage and the either Dunkeld or Pitlochry for lunch. Before getting to your accommodation in Inverness we will visit Clava Cairns an ancient burial ground said to be 4000 years old and Culloden Battlefield where the last Jacobite rising took place. Spend the night in Inverness sampling some Scottish music or taking it easy in one of the many restaurants.

Day 2
Departing Inverness for the Isle of Skye we can visit Dundreggan rewilding centre and learn about Scotland’s ancient Caledonian Forest, Eilean Donan Castle and the "tropical" village of Plockton famous for its Palm trees. Then go over the sea to Skye using the bridge.

Day 3
Tour around Skye visiting the many tourist attractions or go off the beaten track and visit the quite areas around Skye. Dunvegan Castle, Talisker Distillery, Skye Museum of Island Life, Flora MacDonalds grave, Kilt Rock, Staffin Dinosaur Museum plus many other options to choose from.

Day 4
​Depart Skye on the ferry from Armadale over to the fishing village of Mallaig. Stop off at the Glenfinnan viaduct and see the Jacobite train crossing also known as the Harry Potter train or Hogwarts Express. Here you can visit the Jacobite monument where Bonnie Prince Charlie raised the standard for the 1745 rising. We also have the option of driving to Fort Augustus where you can go on a cruise of Loch Ness and maybe see the Loch Ness Monster affectionately known as Nessie. accommodation around the Fort William area.

Day 5
After breakfast we leave Fort William and head towards Glencoe Visitor Centre to see how the glen was formed and how people lived here hundreds of years ago. Hear about its haunting past The Glencoe Massacre in 1692. Outside at the visitor centre is a reconstructed turf house from 300 years ago and some Highland Cows. We then drive up into to the glen and stop for photos of the majestic Glencoe. As we make our way back towards Edinburgh or Glasgow we can visit some other Victorian tourist towns like Callander and Luss. If heading towards Edinburgh maybe stop at The Kelpies. ​​​​​​​​​

14 day Highland Tour of Scotland

Day 1
Pick up from airport of your choice depending on time a tour of Edinburgh/Glasgow before been dropped to your hotel.
Day 2
Depart your hotel and drive through Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park. Opportunities to visit Inveraray Jail or Castle, St Conan's Kirk before reaching your accommodation in Oban also known as the seafood capital of Scotland.
Day 3
Catch the ferry over to the Isle of Mull and visit Iona. Iona is a small island located off the coast of Mull. The island is home to the famous Iona Abbey, a site of pilgrimage for centuries, and offers a peaceful retreat for those looking to connect with nature and history. Whether you're exploring its sandy beaches or enjoying the vibrant local culture, Iona promises a memorable experience. Accommodation Oban
Day 4

Day 5
Take the Jacobite train otherwise known as the Harry Potter Train to the fishing village of Mallaig if tickets are available. These need booked well in advance. If not we can drive to the Glenfinnan Viaduct and watch the train cross over. Lunch at Mallaig and get some photos with the train at the station before making our way back to Fort William.

Day 6
Drive to Skye through the highlands visiting Glen Sheil and Eilean Donan Castle. Accommodation Skye.
Day 7

Day 8
Depart for Ullapool via "tropical" Plockton famous for its Palm trees, then over the famous Bealach na Ba road for lunch at the Applecross Inn. Afternoon tea at Gairloch before reaching the town of Ullapool.
Day 9
Tour of the west highlands. We will drive through the area called Assynt and Coigach. Many of the most distinctive peaks here such as Suilven were formed during the last Ice Age. We will also visit The North West Highlands Geopark, this is a geopark in the Scottish Highlands. Awarded UNESCO geopark status in 2004, it was Scotland's first geopark, featuring some of the oldest rocks in Europe, around 3,000 million years old.

Day 10
Durness to Thurso. This will be a more relaxing day stopping for photos on the drive over to Thurso.

Day 11
Orkney day tour. This fantastic full day tour will allow you to explore the fantastic highlights of Orkney. Visit Skara Brae (stone age village), Scapa Flow, Stromness, Kirkwall, Churchill Barriers, Ring of Brodgar, Standing Stones of Stenness and the Italian Chapel. The ferry crossing from John O’Groats is just 40 minutes across the famous Pentland Firth, where you will have the opportunity to spot the spectacular marine wildlife such as seals, whales and sea birds. Upon arrival, your coach will be waiting at Burwick ready to drive you across the Churchill Barriers and along the northern coast of Scapa Flow. You’ll have time to explore Stromness, one of Britain’s most picturesque towns. Wander the winding main street, visit the museum and The Pier Arts Centre.

Day 12
Depart Thurso for Inverness stopping at the Golspie Waterfalls and Dunrobin Castle and Gardens.

Day 13

Get ready to return to the airport. Depending on time of flight we will decide what to visit.
