Loch Lomond, Inveraray Castle & the Western Highlands

1. Cruise Terminal Pick-Up – Greenock

Meet your private driver-guide directly at Greenock Cruise Terminal before setting off into some of Scotland's most spectacular scenery.

As we head north, enjoy commentary on Scotland's history, clans, landscapes, and local life while travelling through ever-changing Highland scenery.

2. Loch Lomond & Luss Village

Our first stop is the beautiful conservation village of Luss, nestled on the western shores of Loch Lomond.

Highlights:

• Stunning lochside views

• Traditional stone cottages

• Scenic photography opportunities

• Time for coffee or a leisurely stroll along the waterfront

  
  

3. Through the Highlands

Continue through the magnificent landscapes of Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park.

Scenic highlights include:

• Highland glens and mountain scenery

• The famous Rest and Be Thankful viewpoint

• Views over Loch Fyne

Depending on your preferred pace for the day, we may also visit the atmospheric ruins of Kilchurn Castle or the remarkable St Conan's Kirk, one of Scotland's most unique churches.

As this is a private tour, the day can be tailored to suit your interests and available time.

4. Inveraray & Optional Castle Visit

Arrive in the picturesque Highland town of Inveraray, beautifully situated on the shores of Loch Fyne.

You can choose to:

• Explore the charming town at your own pace

• Browse independent shops

• Enjoy lunch or refreshments in one of the cafés

• Visit Inveraray Castle (admission not included)

Please note that Inveraray Castle is normally closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, so on those days you'll have extra time to enjoy the town or additional scenic stops elsewhere on the tour.

The amount of time spent in Inveraray is entirely up to you, allowing us to adapt the remainder of the day to include additional viewpoints or attractions where possible.

5. Scenic Return to Greenock

Relax on the return journey through the Western Highlands, stopping for additional viewpoints and photographs where time allows before returning comfortably to Greenock Cruise Terminal ahead of your ship's departure.
